Warrior

 There is a war ragjng,

with my sanity the coveted prize. 

All I can feel is confusion,

all I can see is distortion. 

This way has raged for as long as I can remember,

though in the past all I wanted was to survive.

No longer do I cower in fear,

no longer do I try and hide. 

With armour I stand on the front lines,

gripping  a sword that has been forged by fire. 

For now I can see the war will end,

that I will win this in the end.
